COLOR COMP MODELS

Color Comp Inc. has been in business for a long time and has been working with Matchbox to produce speical limited edition (short run) promos as well as Matchbox Collectible models for years. They became known to the collectors in 1999 when they first did a demo printing job at the 1999 Hershey Convention. Since then, they have been doing short run promos for a lot of collectors/groups. They are very collector friendly. This list will provide you the names of almost all the models (including variations) that Color Comp has produced so far in the miniature range. Only a limited number of MoY and Dinky promos are listed. I thank Bill Shisler for initially providing me his list of jobs. Without his coopration this list would not have been a reality. Compare this list with your database and see what are you missing or even if you have a model but you did not know it was done by Color Comp. Here is a list of all the models with a "thumb up" meaning I have it in my collection. Click at the to view the model. There are three categories:

1) Color Comp Productions -- all of their excellent work
2) Color Comp Prepros/Error/One of a Kind -- Models that did not get to productions
3) Color Comp Blanks -- Models that you can chose from Color Comp Inventory to do your promos.

Please note that the models are listed by catalog number then they are sorted in year order but not necessiraly in release order. I will be updating the list as I become aware of the models.
